The ideal of, “I have a professional voice over reel, and all I need to do is put it online to find work”, is an ideal that will quickly lead to frustration. Many voice talent overlook details that simply do not market their voices properly. I share this in Chapter 3: Voice Over Demos, of The Voice Over Guide, which I released last week.
It may be obvious to most that recording an mp3 with a computer mic does not cut it, but do you know why “professional reels” may not be the answer, too?
